It's been a cloudy day here. So cloudy we haven't been able to see the mountains until just an hour or so ago.
John emailed me a few minutes ago from work. He has an amazing view of Pikes Peak from there, and when the clouds lifted...there was SNOW on Pikes Peak.
That makes me so happy!!!

That would make me happy too! We moved to Texas from Idaho this past spring. How I am longing for fall. It is my favorite time of year, but apparently is non-existent here in Texas. No cooler nights, beautiful changing leaves. I remember catching the first view of snow on the Idaho foothills...how exciting! Here we're still going to the pool!
Mountain snow with blue sky behind it? Sigh. One of my favorite things. Happy for you!
"Termination dust" (as we called the first snow on the mountains in Alaska) is always so cool to see.
You had a busy week last week! Sounds like you're recovering well, though. I'm with you ~ a slow-paced life is much preferable to a fast-paced life. At least it is for me.
Blessings,
Trish
I love snow, but you know from living in Jonesboogie that you never know how much snow we'll get from winter to winter. I hope we get more this year than the last several. I love snowcream!
Here's to a wonderful Fall and Winter. :-)
Love and hugs,
Diane
Ah, Colorado.
Can't say I'm looking forward to seeing snow here, though it will be fun to see what my little guy thinks of it!
Wow, snow already? That's awesome! I bet it makes for a gorgeous sight. Hint, hint, take us a picture :)
