Our Poor, Tortured Dog
You can't tell from this photo, but Jack has a lovely 3-4inch purple mark on the white fur of his neck. John first noticed it at dinner and when he bent down for a closer look, our 5-year old started giggling nervously. I think she got a little carried away this afternoon while coloring in her My Little Pony book, and decided it would be fun to doodle on the dog. Poor Jack. There is never a dull moment around here. Never.

So funny!
It's nice that Jack is so tolerant. Our dog is that way too. My daughter smothers and loves that poor dog.
Stories like a purple sportin' Jack make for good memories!

That poor, mistreated animal! I think I'll just turn y'all in to the SPCA for smothering him with love. ;o)
I bet he loved every minute of it!
Our dog Sara, may she rest in peace, "played" Pretty Pretty Princess with my (then) preschooler. And we continue to torture Annie (our 2 y.o golden) in a similar fashion.
He really looks mistreated. ;) Cute pic of ds.
Poor dog. He may need to sport a very butch collar until the purple goes away. = )
My center child and her friend Claire once decided to use markers to draw a necklace and earrings on Claire's little sister. Thank heaven for washables!
