What are some of your favorite smells of summer?
A few of mine are...
chlorine
Coppertone followed by Solarcaine
honeysuckle
watermelon
smoke from 4th of July fireworks
I have many more, but want to hear some of yours!
(I promise I'll be back soon with a real post.)
*I don't buy usually buy Coppertone, but it's one of those nostalgic smells for me. Will and I ran by the grocery store this afternoon and I opened a bottle of it just to take a whiff! Love it! Took me back about 30 years!

Definitely sun products for the skin - all kinds, I'm not picky.
The wafting smells of someone's barbeque (ironic, I know).
Honeysuckle, too.
And just the fresh warm air.
I like the smell of sunscreen, too.
And freshly-mowed grass.
Lemons (They just remind me of Summer...)
And grills fired up cooking up yummy food!
I was also going to say grills, which is funny since I don't eat red meat!
Honestly, not much. I'm not a summer girl. I do love the smell of the peppermint foot scrub I use everyday during the summer.
What you said. Those are some of my favorites.
I love the smell of fresh cut grass, and also watered grass...love it when the sprinklers go on at night and the cool smell of watered grass makes it to my bedroom window...mmmmmm. Also love the smell of the swimming pools and the smell after it rains and the heat vapors rise up off the concrete...weird ehhh. I guess I just like anything that has to do with water...lol...in the winter it's frozen water, but you can't exactly sniff snow. ;)
I love the smell of a good old charcoal bbq. We have a gas bbq, but the neighbors have a charcoal one and the smell of the coals reminds me of my childhood summers. I also love the smell of coppertone and I love to use the shampoo with coconut scent on the kids in the summer. They smell so yummy!
Sunscreen, sweaty heads, dirty bodies- all at the same time because it means we have had fun. Then the smell of bubble baths all around. Only in summer do our kids bathe everyday. And the smell of sundried laundry.
I love the smell of watermelon, BBQ Chicken, and the sunscreen I put on the kids.
I also love the smell of cut grass! But I don't get to smell that too often here!
I love the smell of a fresh cut lawn. It is the firt thing I think about when someone says summer. I love the smell of a charcoal BBQ, Watermelons & Cantaloupes, and chlorine. Even though I don't eat many veggies, I love walking into a house and smelling fresh veggies cooking/being canned. Reminds me of my grandparents.

Fresh cut grass, freshly laid mulch, honeysuckle, cucumber lotion, and believe it or not - skunk scent. Not sure why but I've always, always liked it.
I like all those you mentioned. I also like fresh cut grass and dinner on the grill.
rain, pineapple, freshly washed children's hair after swimming
not watermelon :)
berries, bbq, and sunscreen....
Fresh Cut Grass, Bonfire at night, food on the BBQ...

Ah.......watermelon and fresh mowed grass. I also think sweet tea is a summer thing. LOL Even though I can drink it all year long, it smells more sweet in the summer for some reason. LOL
Mowed grass
Fresh Fruit
Sun tan oil
Sunscreen
Smells of cooking out
Hot Concrete/tar (reminds me of going to six flags as child in the summers)
I like the coconutty suntan oil smell. Know what you mean about Coppertone though. That one takes me back, too.
That sulphur-y smell after fireworks...that's a good one. I have to agree.
