6.5 and 41.5

Abbey reminded me this morning that today was her half-birthday. That means it is John's half-birthday too!

So, tonight after we got home from her cross-country meet (she did GREAT again tonight!) we made some gingerbread and had a mini celebration!

You're halfway to 7 and 42, guys!!!!

Here's a pic from the meet tonight. Abbey ran FAST!

We're so proud of her!

*The cute plate that Abbey is holding in the first picture is from her birthday party at the paint-your-own pottery place. Her handprint is in the middle and each guest made a thumbprint around the edges. The owners of the store transformed it into a fun birthday keepsake!

She's quite the runner, isn't she?! I love that she loves it and is doing so well. Maybe she'll be a world famous runner one day :)
