The kids and I hiked Spruce Mountain a few weeks ago with some friends and we loved it so much that we took John back there today. It's a great hike for kids and the views are amazing. Today's weather was perfect and we had such a fun time together!
We had to share the trail with several horseback riders. I think I counted six horses!
Will is in one of those phases where he rolls his eyes whenever I try to take his picture. This is one of three photos I was able to take of him today. Doesn't he look absolutely thrilled?
After we finished, we went to 3Margaritas (our fave!) for dinner. It was delicious as usual!
I was so thankful for a family day since John was in Dallas all weekend. I'm feeling a little blue that our weekend is coming to a close, but thankfully, this will be a short week.
Hope your Labor Day has been a great one!
I just told my husband, "this girl whose blog I'm reading lives in the most beautiful area of the country!" How blessed you are! And I read the last post so I know you know it!

ReplyDeleteI can see your header! And your lovely new profile pic too! ;o)
I love Arkansas, but what really anchors me here is my family. I could be just as happy almost anywhere else as long as my family was there too.
Love you,
Diane
