My friend, Jen, is known for her fun, impromptu gifts that she's always giving to people. More than once, she's handed me a bag filled with a "little happy" as she calls it. I love "happies" and I've had a few of them today. They weren't packaged in a cute little bag, but they still made me stop and smile!
Happy #1--both of the girls wanted to eat lunch at school which meant that I didn't have to pack a lunch for them this morning, which meant that I had extra time and our morning felt a bit more leisurely.
Happy #2--I met a friend at the tea house after I dropped the girls off, and we spent three hours catching up over tea. It was wonderful. I love her dearly!
Happy #3--Kashmiri chai from The Wisdom Tea House. It is out of this world delicious. And extremely fattening. But I'm not going to think about that right now.
Happy #4--The sun decided to make an appearance today. Yesterday was cold and gray and my mood followed suit. It started out the same way today, but thankfully the sun triumphed! I really NEED sunshine every day!
Happy #5--I came home from the tea house and had an email from J asking if I was up for an at-home date tonight after the kids are in bed. Yep...I can't wait.
Of course, my day isn't over but it's definitely been a good one so far! Hope yours has been good too.

All of those things would make me happy, too!! It's just the little things in life isn't it??
Next time I come visit my folks, we have to make sure to plan something when that tea house is open so we can go there! I'd forgotten about you telling me about it!
