Yeah, baby!

I did it! I made it to the top of Pikes Peak yesterday!

It was a stunning hike, and I'm completely exhausted, but I'm also completely exhilarated!

I have lots of pictures from yesterday, but my friends have some that I need to fill in the gaps and tell the complete story. So, I'll blog about it in detail later this week.

I'm not sore at all today, but I'm very tired which is why I'm camped out on the couch right now watching NFL and reading the Sunday paper!

Here's the sign my family had taped to the front door when I got home yesterday! Isn't that great? They're the best!!!

  15. Mer, Mark E. here. Fantastic! The only picture I was ready to pose for when John and I finished was my obituary. Good for you. Just goes to show your plan of actually training and preparing yourself was so far better than ours. Can't wait to see and hear further details of the trip. Peace.

    What an accomplishment.

Are you wearing capris?! Makes me think of all the tourists who arrive up there in their shorts and t's--I bet the gift shop sells a million sweatshirts!
