In order for me to accomplish all that I want to accomplish today, I'm packing my computer into it's sleek booq bag and sending it to work with John. It's a drastic measure, yes, but I know that I cannot resist the calling of "Mac" when I walk past. He lures me with "just one quick little email check" and it's all downhill from there. So...all you blog, Facebook, and Twitter friends will just have to live without me today. I'll catch up with you guys this evening when my house is all sparkly and clean.
I'm already weakening...I must go now. Bye.
Will miss you! All the best!
ReplyDeleteThat was my day yesterday. LOL I still have some laundry to do but otherwise I'm done inside. But I sure do miss my kids being here. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHmmm... maybe I should have done that today. I quick email check just turned into an hour and my house is a disaster! First Christmas then my in-laws. Major cleaning and decluttering is needed. {sigh} Maybe just one more blog? = )
ReplyDeleteI can relate...I have to have a day of getting stuff knocked out too! It is amazing how behind I get when everyone is home, and we are all just hanging out!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't!!! That's pretty drastic. But aren't you enjoying catching up now on all the comments and stuff that happened without you here?
ReplyDeleteHave a GREAT day of cleaning ;)!
ReplyDeleteYou are way more disciplined than me! I should be cleaning, instead I'm being lazy and procrastinating. There's always tomorrow:)
ReplyDeletedesperate times call for desperate measures, sister!
ReplyDeleteCLEAN AWAY!!!
I have the same disease! Good move.
ReplyDeleteDon't let the cleaning fumes and dust get to you. :) See ya when we see ya.
ReplyDeleteyou crack me up!
ReplyDeleteWell, by now you will have accomplished all that you set out to do today, and can join 'Mac' with a good conscience!
ReplyDeleteYou make me laugh girl!
ReplyDeleteIS your house all sparkly now?
I'm so glad to know that other people are just as addicted as me!!
ReplyDeleteDid you get your house all sparkly?!
totally understand!!! hope it worked. i would have then been distracted by a good book or the t.v.
ReplyDeleteOh, it is so hard! I need to do the same thing!
ReplyDeleteYou go girly! I cleaned out our master bedroom closet last weekend -- it took 5 1/2 hours and was time well spent. I have a few more closets to clean and organize -- ugh! But it has to happen. Happy cleaning to you.
ReplyDeleteI can empathize, Mel. Congrats on taking drastic measures. I need to do the same though my computer isn't easily packed up and sent elsewhere.
ReplyDeletebrave brave girl *high five*
