Shanda guessed Seattle and she was correct! I'm getting very excited. Sorta wishing I hadn't given up Starbucks for Lent since Seattle is where it all began and I'm sure there will be reminders of it everywhere. I'm hoping Gretchen will distract me while John works. (squeal!)

  3. Have you ever been? I've been there probably 10 times now. It's absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Enjoy it and have fun! And certainly the Lord will understand you having just a little cuppa joe while there. Or you can try one of those tea lattes. It's not a REAL Starbucks coffee drink, so maybe it won't count.

  4. Get OUT!!
Okay, not literally, but that is sooooooo close to me and if it were any other time in my life (except the week before I am moving) I would make the 2 hour drive to have lunch with you or something!
    I am truly bummed.
But happy for you. Enjoy the Emerald City. It is beautiful. Go to the original Starbucks down at the Pike Place Market, just to say you've been there. And to get your picture taken with the "original" logo, the mermaid girls is not wearin much!

My other recommendation is a restaraunt called Chinooks! It's yummy!

    Have lots of fun!
