Two things...

Two quick things.

1. I just read our community newspaper that comes out at the beginning of each month. My favorite feature is the monthly weather wrap. Want to guess how much snow we had in October? 29 inches. That is just crazy. High temp for the month was 77, low temp was 8. I'm a weather geek. I find those statistics fascinating.

2. Sarah and I had a fun girl day today. We went to see a local production of Pride and Prejudice. It was GREAT!!! The actors did an amazing job, and Mr. Darcy did NOT disappoint. If you live in the Co Springs area and want more info, leave me a comment. It runs through November 14, and tickets were very reasonable.

We went to lunch before the play and Sarah chose Panera. I love Panera and now I have a reason to love it even more. Six words: Vermont White Cheddar Macaroni and Cheese. It was worth every single calorie. We both thought it was better than the mac and cheese at Noodles & Company which was our favorite until today. Go. To. Panera. Now. You can thank me later. If you don't have one close to you, then I am just so, so sorry.

No Panera OR Noodles & Company anywhere near me here in NE Arkansas. Boo! Glad y'all enjoyed the Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese though.

Happy weekend, Mer! :o)

Love and hugs,

Diane

Hey Mer! Just thought I'd come over here to answer your question since I wasn't sure you'd see it otherwise. My thought is this....I'm just going to cut out desserts since having something sweet after lunch and/or dinner is where I struggle. So if we have pumpkin pancakes or something like that for breakfast, I'm going to be ok with that. Just no cookies/cake/candy/ice cream, etc. So that's my rules, what do you want to do? BTW, I really rarely drink coffee, but when I do I most definitely drink it with creamer.

You had me at "cheese".

The 40 minutes it would take me to get there just.might. be worth it.:)

And as a weather buff, you should appreciate this...the Oregon Coast had a tornado. A tornado!!! In Oregon!!! What is the world coming to.... Oh yeah. Guess I kind of already know that answer.

So glad you had a fun day!!

Sounds like you had a fun day!

Not really a fan of Mac 'n Cheese (I know!) but I'm a HUGE fan of Panera!

We don't have Panera here - and it makes me so, so sad. When I visited Indiana this past summer, I ate there and fell in love. Your mac and cheese description made my mouth water.

I love Panera Bread, especially their Meditarrean (sp?) Veggie. The Cilantro Hummus is so so good. Okay so I now I want to go to Panera =)

Have a Blessed evening,
Dawn

I can't wait to try the macaroni and cheese. We don't have a Noodles & Co so I can't compare. Can you believe I've never seen or read Pride and Prejudice?!

I love mac and cheese and will definitely have to try this! Thanks for the info!

My son has been known to order double orders of mac and cheese at other places, so perhaps we should try this one out on a special day. I think his abiding love for it come from his days in utero. I ate so much of the blue box wonder because I was on bed rest, and that was one meal I could quickly create and consume.

One more reason to love Panera. Thank you.
You must try the Mac-n-cheese at Cheesecake Factory. Fabulous comfort food.

I'm so glad that you said that Mr. Darcy didn't disappoint. That was going to be my first question!!

He makes me all swoony.

Glad you enjoyed Pride and Prejudice. Ladies from our church community went and thought it was great. Will have to try the Mac & Cheese on my next chance to get out alone.
