But the central coast of California is STUNNING. And now I sorta want to move even further west.
I'll expound on our trip later this week. I'm still in vacation mode. John and I decided there is a big difference between a trip and a vacation and we much prefer vacations. Especially vacations without laptops and with spotty cell phone coverage. But like I said, more on that later. For now just enjoy the view.

WOw! Looks like u had picture perfect weather, Mer! I know, vacations are few & far between at this stage in our lives--we tend to be in trip mode bc at the end if the day, no matter where we go, we still need to find a McDonalds for the kids. So I'm very glad you were able to truly relax! Your setting looks entirely fabulous.

Cali is lovely but you no one can afford to live there, and they are in HORRIBLE shape budget and government wise. I'll stick to visiting it every so often. Even my husband, a California boy, doesn't want to live there because of the expense and the problems. But I am SO GLAD you had such a beautiful time together!

Awesome pics! There are parts of the Oregon coast that look like this, but I STILL find myself wanting to go where you went...probably more blue skies more days of the year.;)
